Katonah, NY (Billboard Publicity Wire) May 16, 2007 - The New York based rock/jazz/R&B group Reverend Zen has just been nominated for Best Song in the 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards (AC/AAA Category) for their song "Dangerous Times"
"Dangerous Times" is Reverend Zen's VH1 Song of the Year Contest Finalist track from the band's debut cd Angels, Blues & the Crying Moon. CNBC.com's Independent Study / Artists You Need To Know describes the album as, "Great songwriting, lyrics and arrangements from Reverend Zen." Billboard's Radio and Records adds, "Angels, Blues & the Crying Moon by Reverend Zen is simply a very good record." All songs on the release were written by band leader Jack Evans and his co writer James Gerard.
The 17th annual Los Angeles Music Awards take place Nov. 29th at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.
