EL LUGAR DEL NOPAL Puerto Rican Percussionist Gene "Negro" Perry Born in San Juan Puerto Rico Gene Perry has been bringing Afro-Caribbean Music, Latin Jazz, and Salsa to San Diego and Southern California for over 35 years.

His stunning new CD "Mi Tambor Lo Dice Todo" has just been released!!

Tijuana Percussionist Javier Cabanillas He is currently performing with LIBRE VOZ and working with Aroma Tabaco y Son on a recording project and teaching percussion classes in Tijuana. One of Tijuana's most respected percussionists he works regularly also in San Diego.

Cuban Guitarist IGNACIO ARANGO Born in Guanauacoba Cuba to one of Cuba's most important musical families, The Arangos, Igancio moved to San Diego 10 years ago. He has worked with every top jazz and Latin group in San Diego and is in demand as a sideman. One of the best of San Diego musicians !!!!!

Luisa Corredor Luisa has been singing Cuban and Latin music for 20 years. her rich and powerful voice is moving and her passionate delivery conveys authentic Latin Passsion!!! Luisa Corredor

Turiya Mareya Turiya Mareya has been performing and organizing cross cultural projects in Tijuana for over 20 years. She is dedicated with other long time artist activists to to creating cross cultural artistic unity
