SORIANO NEL CIMINO (VITERBO)

The workshops will take place from 28 July through 3 August 2008 at Castello Orsini in Soriano nel Cimino.

Workshop sessions will take place morning and afternoon with sessions covering specific instruments, playing in a group, and theory and harmony. They are open to all players who would like to improve their technical competence in one or more instruments played in a jazz context.

Upon completion of the workshop, a good attendance certificate will be provided. The workshop timetable will be provided on arrival at Soriano.

Students are required to register before 6 pm (18.00 hrs) on the 27 July 2008 at the Chiostro del Comune di Soriano where they will be given the workshop timetables and the pass for access to the Festival events. The students for the guitar and double bass workshops are required to bring their own amplifier, singers should bring a microphone and drummers their own cymbals, sticks and snare drum stand.

In addition to participating in the workshops, we expect all students to take part in the Festival Jam Sessions with their teachers.

The cost of the workshops is 400.00 Euro and the payment must be made in full before the 25 July 2008 by bank transfer made to:

For students who register and pay in full:

Before 31/12/2007 the cost will be reduced to 200.00 Euro

From 01/01/2008 to 28/02/2008 reduced to 250.00 Euro

From 01/03/07 to 30/05/07 reduced to 300.00 Euro
