After years of session work in Los Angeles, Guitar Books with Mel Bay, and now with the new release of his 7th album ( with notable guests such as Kirk Whalum, Alex Acuna, Abe Laboriel, and Chester Thompson ), Jay Leach is defintely "Cleared for Takeoff."

Episodes of American Idol including Kenny Rogers, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Pickler, and Martina McBride, this years TV Land Awards, notable motion picture soundtracks such as Down and Out in Beverly Hills, Six Days and Seven Nights, and Team America. National commercials including McDonalds and Mercedes Benz. Jay has also recorded or performed with Gladys Knight, Roy Orbison, John Denver, and Patti Labelle.

As a solo artist, Jay has performed hundreds of concerts at churches and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
