Press Release by: Joe Curtis

Venue: Ric 'Jaz Guitar' Hall's myspace.com site (Chicago, Illinois, U.SA.)

August 2007 -

There's an amazing feast for the eyes and ears of photos and live concert footage featuring blues guitar great Buddy Guy and his 2nd lead/rhythm guitarist Ric 'Jaz Guitar' Hall, at Ric's myspace.com page. Some of this awesome live footage of Buddy Guy and Ric Hall, includes Calgary, Alberta in July 2007.

Also featured is concert footage from Buddy Guy's Legends and Kingston Mines in Chicago; the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and some pics from 'down under' in New Zealand.

There's even a closeup photo of Buddy and Ric at Toronto's Massey Hall (courtesy of this writer), from last April 2007. In the background while viewing these photos, you'll hear Ric's jazzy guitar side, which sounds a little like the great George Benson.

Carlos Santana, Hubert Sumlin and Koko Taylor are also featured with Buddy and Ric, as well as Jeff Beck, John Hammond, Susan Tedeschi and Kitchener, Ontario's own Mel Brown among many others -- indoors and at some great outdoor concerts that have a warm 'sunny-day' feel to them. There's also some photos of Ric with his 'other band': Legendary 1950s Chicago doo wop band The Dells (originally on Chess Records): http://www.themightydells.com/

These photos and live concert footage are great, and makes it just like being there!

Buddy Guy Blues Band is the featured artist at this year's Southside Shuffle (main stage) in Port Credit, Ontario (just west of Toronto), on Saturday, September 8, 2007 ... a show NOT TO BE MISSED!
