That's right, after 18 months, Dan Pinto's brand new CD has finally been released. This is the one we've been telling you about. "ANOMALIES" is a complete concept release. The music is a very unusual blend of Jazz-Rock Fusion combined with Orchestral and Moviesound styles. Dan Pinto has written a total of 10 tracks never before released that incorporate three very talented musicians in addition to his piano and electronic keyboard wizardry. He produced the album out of Pinto Studios and in addition to his keyboard playing, wrote and performed all the drums and percussion.
Much more than just another Jazz-Rock Fusion CD, this album incorporates orchestration based on Dan Pinto's years of experience studying and writing film music. Unlike his past CD releases, Dan searched high and low for the best players he could find to add an extra dimension to his new music. And although primarily an instrumental release, "ANOMALIES" features a single vocal track that defines it's entire meaning. One that Dan Pinto has seen fit to dedicate to the survivors of the victims of 9/11.
Even beyond the music, an elaborate packaging design was created to add a little something extra for the listener. Based on Anomalies of varying types, the CD inner gatefold features a crossword puzzle geared for the theme and highlights art illustrations all from the hand of Dan Pinto. And as a special promotion to introduce the new release, Eclectic Sound and Dan Pinto are giving away 100 copies to the lucky winners of a riddle contest.
