A new album of vintage swing tunes by the Moon-Rays is coming out from SVI studios called "Swingin at the Séance", and it’s probably the only Halloween album ever that you could Jitterbug to, from start to finish!!
The songs, with the exception of three originals are all vintage 20’s, 30’s and 40’s swing tunes that were originally done by the likes of Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith, Artie Shaw, Louis Jordan and others. Done in the original style and flavor, the Moon-Rays utilized some of Chicagos finest swing players and singers. "Were doing this CD so a new generation of people can appreciate these classic tunes, and put some fun back into Halloween" Mensching said.
Release date is May of 2008
