First-Ever Playboy Jazz Cruise Sails in 2009

Press Release by: Ronald Jackson

After its world famous “Playboy After Dark” TV series and its 30-year old Playboy Jazz Festival, Playboy goes one better in promotion of great jazz as Jazz Cruises, LLC sponsors the first ever Playboy Jazz Cruise in January 2009. Sailing from January 25 through February 1, 2009, and hosted by mega-talented bassist/composer Marcus Miller, this extravaganza will undoubtedly prove to be one great experience.

Joining Marcus in a star-studded lineup is Dianne Reeves, Herbie Hancock, Keb’ Mo’, James Carter, Roy Hargrove, Eldar, James Moody, Roberta Gambarini,  Poncho Sanchez, the New Birth Brass Band, and comedian Alonzo Bodden.  Coupled with a ports-of-call lineup (the absolutely gorgeous islands of San Juan , Nevis , St. Barth’s, and Half Moon Cay), this inaugural event will be one to remember for years to come.

For the first-time cruiser, Jazz Cruises, LLC is a major heavyweight in the arena of jazz cruises, offering the perfect venue for every type of experience expected from such a stylish genre.  For the Playboy Jazz Cruise, Jazz Cruises, LLC chose the spacious Holland America as the full-charter vessel (that’s right, just for the jazzers) to smoothly transport you along the sun-kissed Atlantic. The abundance of scrumptious food all around the clock, the ambience, and interaction with fellow jazzers, place this head and shoulders above the conventional cruise experience.  The challenge:  See if you can set foot on land after this adventure-at-sea and not seriously consider re-booking for the following year!

For those familiar with Jazz Cruises, LLC and its commitment to excellence in the ultimate jazz experience , we need say no more than to ask, “When did you book your cabin?”

Come sail for a week with some of the greatest jazz performers of our time, maybe catch one for a chat while hanging out on the lido deck, take full advantage of the ship’s amenities, and of course, catch the amazing performances held in the coziest of plush lounges.  Now this is how to spend a memorable vacation!

Want more info for your booking?  Click on the Playboy banner above or call 1-866-923-7269 (1-866-923-PBOY).
