Chris Williams Performs First Annual Ambrosia Wine Festival

The First Annual Ambrosia Wine Fest promises to be Orange County’s premier Wine Event. Hosted by the Ambrosia Restaurant in Association with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and The Bacchus Society, the event will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, July 19th, 2008

The Wine Fest will be held within the opulent surroundings of The OC Pavilion situated just south of the 5 freeway in uptown Santa Ana. The event will feature over fifty prestigious Wineries from around the globe and is truly a fantastic opportunity for connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts alike to sample the best in both Old World and New World wines. All wines featured will be available for purchase at a discounted rate with a portion of the profits being donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Guests will also be offered the chance to visit the exclusive Vault V.I.P. Lounge where they will be able to sample from the most luxurious Champagne Houses. The tasting event will culminate with both Live and Silent Auctions and a Raffle featuring several grand prizes. Following the event, Ambrosia Restaurant will be serving a five course wine pairing dinner in collaboration with the esteemed Flora Springs Winery.

General Admission tickets for the event will be available for $50.  General Admission tickets with a Champagne Room Pass will be available for $60.  Limited VIP Passes (which includes a general admission ticket, champagne room pass and world-class Ambrosia Wine Dinner) will be available for $150.

Executive Chef Michael Rossi will feature a dynamic menu that pairs fine wine selections with the freshest fruits, vegetables and entrees of the season.  Rossi’s menu achieves a dynamic balance that both excites and entices the palette of the food and wine enthusiast.  The Award-Winning Ambrosia Restaurant offers intimate, custom leather booths reminiscent of a Parisian romance in a candlelit atmosphere while lovers are swooned to the romantic sounds of jazz vocalist Chris Williams.  Award winning jazz vocalist Williams has performed at many prestigious jazz venues around Southern California and performs at Ambrosia Wednesday through Saturday each week. The restaurant also features a European-inspired, brick-domed Wine Cellar that offers rare vintages of fine wines from around the world.
