Guitarist, composer, and producer Allen Brown is one of the San Francisco Bay Areas most promising players. Allen was born and raised in San Francisco, California when the musical culture was rich and alive. He spent years studying with legendary guitar players such as Joe Satriani & Marc Bonilla.
Since the mid 90s Allen's instrumental song "Rush Hour" (produced by Troy Luccketta) was aired daily on local radio station KSJO. "Rush Hour" received national acclaim in Recording Magazine which centered a feature article.
Today Allen is working on his new smooth jazz record. His live band features; Jerry Merrill (keys), Wade Olson (drums), Chris Wilson (bass), and Lonnie Walter (percussions).
Allen currently runs a production company for artist development called "Burning Bush Productions" and is the founder of "The Bay Area Musician" an online resource for musicians to find players, advertise, and search for professional services. Allen is currently endorsed by Taylor Guitars, Dean Markley Strings, Paul Reed Smith, and The Rock Slide.
