Nick Langston

Vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Nick Langston is originally from Oxford (UK) but has made his name in the thriving music center of Bristol and is well-known on the live circuit for his cool brand of jazz, swing and Latin. However, he is also no stranger to funk, blues, acoustic and a range of other styles that run through his music.

Nick's vocals have a smooth power and his influences include Scott Walker, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr, Andy Williams and Bryan Ferry. He has a great ability at bringing new life to classic songs, playing with melody and tempo to make them his own.

He is also an accomplished guitarist and songwriter - skills that have been invaluable during the project of writing twelve songs for his new album 'Captivated', released in May 2008. An album which also enabled Nick to use his talents on keyboards and percussion as well as as an arranger and producer.

‘Captivated’ is now selling well on Amazon, iTunes and other leading retailers and has been critically-acclaimed as an impressive collection of well-crafted originals featuring top class musicians.
