Diane Schuur added to 20th Anniversary Concert Series

Two-time Grammy winner, Diane Schuur has just been added to Toronto Downtown Jazz's 20th Anniversary Concert Series lineup, presented by JAZZ.FM91. She will perform at the Glenn Gould Studio on April 26, 2006 at 8 p.m.

Toronto Toronto Downtown Jazz, in association with GMP Productions, introduces a series of concerts this winter to kick off the jazz festival’s 20th Anniversary Season. This series, presented by JAZZ.FM91, boasts a lineup that will appeal to both the neophyte and jazz connoisseur, offering a little something to whet every appetite.

Downtown Jazz has programmed ten days of phenomenal jazz at Nathan Phillips Square, most of it for free. From June 24 to July 3, Nathan Phillips Square, in the heart of Toronto, will be the hub of the 19th annual Festival.

Mainstage (ticketed) shows will feature Matt Dusk and Jacksoul (sold out already) on June 24.

The evening concert on June 25 features singer Keren Ann followed by trumpet virtuoso, the great Arturo Sandoval.
