Soul singer sensation Gina Carey is ready to take the music industry by storm once again as she prepares to drop her 6th CD release “Love Letters” on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012. “Love Letters” includes 10 beautifully delivered songs all well written, arranged, composed and produced by Gina Carey. “Love Letters” is a combination of Soul, R&B, funk and & smooth jazz. Her husband Soul /Jazz Guitarist John Carey has also dazzled this CD with his sultry Guitar licks.

Gico Music’s Recording Artist John and Gina Carey to Open for Rose Royce benefiting the National Legal Aid and Defender Association UK Soul Chart toppers John & Gina Carey to open for 70 Pop/funk band Rose Royce at Groovin’ for Justice, an equal justice fundraiser.

With Gina Carey hitting the #1 spot on the UK Soul Charts and her husband guitarist John Carey closely following, charting at #8 , This talented married couple have been invited by the NLADA to be one of the artist to open for Billboards R & B Pop Chart toppers, 70’s funk band Rose Royce. Rose Royce is known for their “Car Wash’ movie soundtrack with hit singles, “Car Wash”, “I Wanna Get Next To You” and “I’m Going Down”. This event will take place on October 2, 2011 and be held at the beautiful Riverside, CA. Rancho Jurupa Park (Pecan and Acorn Shelters). 12 pm – 6:00 pm. This charitable event will be hosted by Mr. Gary Windom, Law Offices of the Public Defender, Riverside County and Irene Morales, Inland Counties Legal Services.

The Carey’s will grace the stage at 1:00 pm for an electrifying 45 minute live performance in support of NLADA. This talented couple will be performing all original songs both written and produced by them from their new chart topping CD releases “New Beginnings” (by Guitarist John Carey) and “Melodic” (by Soul Singer Gina Carey). Chicago native, John Carey is an accomplished multi genre guitarist/singer/songwriter/composer/ arranger and producer. On Wednesday August 24, 2011, Palm Springs, California based soul artist Gina Carey has climbed to the #1 spot of Starpoint Radios' Top 30 UK Soul Charts with her new CD release "Melodic", this has not been achieved since her first Urban Gospel release "In His Time" in 1996.

On July 7, 2011, her Album "Melodic" entered the UK Soul Charts at #27 and steadily climbed each week until she hit the #1 spot. "Melodic" was officially released on June 18, 2011. All songs were written, composed and arranged by Gina except for "Without You and Don't Ever Let Me Go". Those songs were written by her husband and label mate Gico Music's Smooth Jazz/ Urban Soul Guitarist John Carey. John also produced Melodic and is the featured lead guitarist on all of her songs.
