May 27, 2005; Monterey, California - "Thinking locally, acting globally" comes alive as the Monterey Jazz Festival announces new plans for several of its jazz education programs.

In addition to the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, which is embarking on an international tour to perform in New York at Sweet Rhythms on July 3, Lincoln Center's "Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola" on July 4, and the Montreal Jazz Festival on July 6, the Monterey Jazz Festival has a
