On his latest release for Criss Cross Jazz, saxophonist Tim Warfield tastefully examines several "classic" gems from the "Great American" songbook with a fresh perspective. His sixth recording as a leader, "A Sentimental Journey", features the fearless Terell Stafford on trumpet, resolute swinger Byron Landham on drums, and "rising star", Pat Bianchi on Hammond B-3 organ.
