Misha V. Stefanuk has a sure winner in his new Jazz Album for Piano!  This is a wonderful way to learn some intricate piano stylings.  There are twelve solos, each written in the style of the jazz greats. There is a play-along CD which presents each solo as performed by Stefanuk. 

Each work is composed by Stefanuk.  He explains how he was inspired by each composer, and shares interesting background on the composer.  Composers include Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Count Basie, Pete Johnson, Duke Ellington, Erroll Garner, Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, and Bill Evans.

Stefanuk has an intricate performance technique, and his stylings are creative and harmonic in scope.  This collection of original compositions is highly recommended for any person who plays piano or is interested in creative jazz piano. 

Misha V. Stefanuk is prolific and creative.  This is one of his finest book collections to date, and there is something for everybody in this fine collection of original jazz compositions for piano.
