Outrageously Wild (2 CD-Set) by Tania Maria

Tania Maria is a living legend in Brazilian jazz. This 2 CD set showcases her fiery performances and intimate Brazilian moods. Disc one contains THE REAL TANIA MARIA: WILD! -- LIVE AT THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL, originally released in 1985, and contains seven songs. Among these songs are "Yatra-ta," "Come With Me," "2 A.M.," and "Sangria." Disc two contains OUTRAGEOUS, originally released in 1993, and contains twelve songs. Among these 12 songs are found "She's Outrageous," "Bom Bom Bom," "Tchi Tchi Tchi," "Happiness," "I Can Do It," and "Granada." Her "Amei De Mais (I Loved Too Much)" is a showcase song for her great talents as a performer.

For those who have not heard Tania Maria, this set is a wonderful introduction to this beloved Brazilian performer and songwriter, and it is one that will entertain a wide listening audience. Tania Maria delivers, and does so in a flawless manner.
