Esquisse by Le Trio

A modern jazz trio performing contemporary jazz the "French" way. These three french musicians intermix to design a collection of tunes that are uptempo and thoroughly creative. Le Trio features Laurent Rouback on a rough and ready electric guitar that gives their jazz a little groovy feeling with a whole lot of soul. Claude Gastaldin throws down some nifty beats while displaying his courageous and attentive drum playing style. Christophe Villalba proves that his fingers can adapt perfectly to a classic style elegantly played piano or a contemporary electric keyboard. On the "Thalange" track the band puts a spin on a mellow guitar / piano melody by sprinkling in some interesting vocal scats from Isabelle Gastaldin in the new tradition of a "rap chant".

This new release will be distributed in the US by Night & Day Inc. If you want to expand your jazz collection in a global fashion, then pick up this great new release, along with some french bread and wine and image yourself in a quaint little french jazz club, taking in the cool vibes! Enjoy!
