Hands of Time by David Morgan Trio

Turnipseed Records new release by The David Morgan Trio brings us jazz the way it should be heard, "Live". Pianist and composer David Morgan is one of the new bright young stars rising high in the Jazz community. David's style is light, free-flowing and full of life which captivates his audience with the exhilaration of perfection. David had the honor of being the first graduate from the University of New Orleans Jazz Studies program, having studied under jazz greats such as Ellis Marsalis and Harold Battiste Jr. to name a few. David's musical education is reflected in his mastery of the jazz standards played with his own unique approach will composing some original music that you are sure to enjoy. On this release David is featured with two talented sidemen, Sean Drabitt playing a mean thump on the bass and Jason Marsalis throwing down smooth rhythms on the drums. This trio melds music together like they have been playing together for a lifetime.
