Leather U.S.A. by Love Tank

Seven tracks produced by the San Francisco based group, blending funk, jazz and wordplay. Brendan Rush Dance performs on horns, whistles and words. John Law handles drums and percussion. Brandon Butrick on bass.

The horns and whistles provide an exotic blend for the horns to carry the melody at times, making the listener feel as though he/she were walking through a jungle, waiting for the next beat to follow.

At times, the performance is upscale. At other times, harmonious and blended tones gently guide the listener.

Unfortunately, the great sounds created by this group are augmented with some profound verbiage which takes away from the depth and creativity of the music.

This group would have done well to stay with the musical composition and left well enough alone.
