Standing Together by George Benson

George has really hit the mark with this followup to his 1996 release "That's Right". From the opening bars of "C-Smooth" to the final notes of "Keep Rollin", this CD is a must-have. In addition to his signature guitar style, he lends his (in my opinion) underrated vocal talents to four of the nine tracks. George goes Latin with the understated "Poquito Spanish, Poquito Funk", one of the best tracks on the disc. The guest list includes Robert C. Benson, Lenny Castro, Paul Jackson Jr., Marc Antoine, and Carlos Henriquez. Believe me when I say that this one is a keeper.
