The Love Project by Various Artists

"The Love Project," distributed by Narada Jazz, features some of the best in contemporary jazz music. Narada Jazz offers "a smoother brand of contemporary music with more emphasis on melody and structure."

For "The Love Project," notable artists such as David Benoit, Jeff Lorber, Euge Groove, Joyce Cooling, Alex Bugnon, Walter Beasley, Urban Knights, and newcomer Frayne delivers brand-new recordings of popular love songs. Remember "Baby Come to Me?" by James Ingram? Urban Knights offer a jazzy version of this popular tune.

Frayne offers the eloquent track, "For the Love of You," originally written by the Isley Brothers, while Walter Beasley's alto saxophone compliments "Free," which at one time was sung by R&B artist Chante Moore. Very nice.

For a soulful, the track "Love T.K.O." featuring Alex Bugnon is accented with a nice piano accompaniment along with the vocals of Ronnie Garrett. What a perfect compilation to celebrate love with a significant other or spouse.
