A Gift of Love by Tuck & Patti

Again the signature string style of Tuck Andress mixed with wife and partner Patti Cathcart has produced a gift that the jazz society can embrace. A Gift of Love released in July of this year from T&P Records is an emotional roller coaster, musically driven on tracks destined to land in many collections. With hints of bossa nova to swing, each cut has a well-defined and orchestrated personality. Give this project close ear.

This project is unique in that Tuck & Patti fans in most cases influenced the selection of cuts. A process that is well received and highly commended. Along with their personal ideas and desires they sculptured the project under the universal sensation "Love".

Lovin’ You is a standout cut within the project. Ms. Cathcart delivers an exceptionally seductive yet innocent delivery of this fan favorite. The string backdrop is a true compliment to the partners’ success.

The bossa nova interpretation of the Carpenter’s Close to You is distinctive and stunning. The delivery which is far different that most, has introduced an unusual feel and vibrancy to the classic. Tuck once more offers a string rendition that truly mixes well with the mood Patti is projecting.

A duo built and designed on emotional energy has used their talents once again to draw their fans into a world of musical delight. A desirable and upbeat addition to any library, could a live performance project be next?
