Tony Bennett aced this one a few years and made it his own like only Tony could. Listening to The Best Is Yet To Come from a woman’s perspective is refreshing. Having fun with the vocal, Baumann is loose and enjoying it immensely. With a supportive group she succeeds in nailing this one.
Hallgren’s subtle flute on The Good Life provides a glider like effect to Baumann’s personal rendition. ever so smooth, her voice is right on the money when it comes to "feeling" the lyric. Lindskog’s sax break is a joy to listen to.
