Love is a Four Letter Word by Denise Baker

Canadian jazz vocalist Denise Baker has been on the scene for 16 years, and "Love is a Four Letter Word" is her second release. Baker's approach seems short, sweet, dreamy and inspiring. Listening to Baker takes the listener to a completely different era. "A Slow Hot Wind" is vibrant and sensual, while "I Only Have Eyes for You" is sincere and meaningful.

Baker gives her interpretation of love on her compact disc jacket: "Love truly is a like a four letter word," she said. "A word that a lot of people are afraid to say out loud for fear that someone might hear them. ...All I ask of from this CD is that you allow your emotions to be stirred. Simple. For once a person's innermost thoughts are awakened, anything is possible." Well said."Love is a Four Letter Word" is available at or
