Steve Cardone by Steve Cardone

Vocalist Steve Cardone's new CD project comes at you direct from the Frank Sinatra vernacular, i.e..........Complete with Frank-esque nuances, phrasing, sense of swing, et al. It's true Sinatra created a vocal 'school' as it were, & Cardone is one of it's better proponents. His 'Pennies From Heaven' is uncanny in its similarity to the original Sinatra rendition. Steve is vocally trained in the 'Bel Canto' arts, emerging from the operatic discipline to follow his dream. Cardone's strong baritone quality is replete with tonal & textural shadings, exemplified by his 'Funny Valentine' currently being featured on Movietunes in some 18,000 theaters nationally. His vocal timbre, sensitivity to the lyric, & sense of inventiveness is apparent in his delivery as he swings through some of the great lexicon of covers Sinatra made so famous. Cardone is capable of plying his vocal wares in a lush, orchestral setting which can only enhance his potential to achieve popular & commercial success.
