Luis Conte's CUBAN DREAMS collection is Cuban music at its best, fully realized by a great Cuban performer! CUBAN DREAMS flows over with life, mystery, adventure, and is sure to entertain all jazz fans who enjoy Cuban music.

Following the Intro, the selections include "Drume Negrita," Isla Linda," "Walk to Carnival Medley" (which includes 6 separate parts), "Suave Congo Carabali," "Conga Santiaguera," "Cielo y Tierra," "El Real De Hielo," "Lo Que Siento" (which includes "La Bayamesa"), and "El Final" (which includes "La Comparsa," and "Nino.") Each song entry is an enjoyable adventure and will give the jazz listener a sense of joy and friendship in performance.

Some of the performers include Leila Guerrero on vocals, Joseph Rotondi on piano, Dervy Rojas on vocals, Harry Kim on trumpet, Martin Tillman on cello, among many others. Luis Conte appears on vocals on some selections. The narration that is interjected into some of these songs adds a dash of spice and enchantment as the song unfolds.
