Music of espionage by Spies

once upon a time there was jazz lp lover me. it was nothing as go as the sound of wax. i was send off to strange world (uk) the land of mission, kef , b&w ,merdian and linn. and i knew for fact that cds would never touch the sound of the needle on the record. but i knew the first time i saw a cd player that wax was dead as the eight track. so i got once but i still love sound of my revox turntable. then i walk in a hifi store they were playing spies on merdian cd player come from kef 107s it blew my mind. to tell everyone in store did a turn. it was like steely dan ,q. jone and earth ,wind &fire had descided to jam together live. the music was easy but sound was powerful. the production show up what cds could be supersonic. each song had it on sound and power. It was a perfect fission of pop and jazz. the first cd i seemed with a warning label but not for bad taste but for sound that could blow your woof across the room. if think you heard what a great cd can sound like and have a decent hifi. then git with the spies and listen to music of espionage. even today more than ten years it is still a state of art recording.
