URBAN GROOVES ALBUM II by Down to the Bone

Down To The Bone is not your ordinary UK group, that migrated to the US, and now call Brooklyn or Staten Island their home. They brought their instruments and actually know how to play them. Chris Morgans, and Stuart Wade know what they are doing. These fellas jam on every cut. The bass lines and beats are very funky, and it makes you wonder what they are putting in the water over there. All UK based groups can do this and make it look easy. The smoldering RHODES keyboard sound that holds the rhythem surrounded by that funky bass, drums, and a simple but effective melody produced by either a solo RHODES or Tenor Sax. All of the songs on this CD are fast. Therefore, if you like slow, mello, jazz, this CD could be the one that changes your mind. Most of their songs are popular for producing some of the best "line dances" in the clubs. My only complaint about this CD is that they didn't include a dance chart with the steps. Hey,....Simply put....these fellas jam. This CD is a MUST HAVE. Scale of 1-10? 20!! Its just that tight!!! You can't go wrong with it.
