Confidential by Peter White

Smooth jazz guitarist Peter White will release Confidential on March 23, 2004. A carefully nurtured work that took more than a year to create, the CD is a collection of soothing vibes and delicious grooves. White brings with him a host of notables that includes Chris Botti, Brian Culbertson, Mindi Abair, Paul Brown, Michael Paulo and Christopher Cross.

Each song fits perfectly into a delicately flavored landscape of sexy nuances and softened tones. Coast Road Drive defines the soundscape to follow. The melody softly drives without rhythmic overkill. Perhaps the most notable aspect of Confidential is how White sets a steady mood and vibe. The title cut, Confidential, with Brian Culbertson is softly sexy and acoustically soothing. White picks up the accordion to create a romantically pleasing Swept Away. Chris Botti’s muted trumpet is the perfect compliment to White’s melancholic guitar in Stormfront. Who could resist the irresistible voice of Christopher Cross in She’s in Love? You’ll find yourself beautifully lost in time with the closing song, Endless Journey.
