North of Soul by North of Soul

North of Soul is the sole project of Montreal clothier Richard Scala, who wished to produce an album that portrayed classic '60s soul music. He financed this project, enlisting the help of several people who shared the same vision he did.

The result is a laidback, timeless 10-track album that is never weary from start to finish. You feel like dancing; you feel romantic. The listener will identify with reworked classics and appreciate the original material.

The vocals of Jean-Claude Beliveauare are featured throughout as well as the sax and tasteful arrangements of Libert Subirana. "North of Soul" is a keeper. Enjoy!
