Congratulations to Concord Records for bringing out "Mel Torme, Gerry Mulligan, George Shearing: The Classic Concert Live," for it is both a remarkable and memorable collection of performances by three jazz greats in perfect sync musically, and the magic of their performances is outstanding. This is jazz at its finest.

From the start with "I've Heard That Song Before," featuring talk/vocals by the three performers, this CD collection is perfect. For those who enjoy these performers this is the CD to have in your home collection!

There are thirteen songs in the collection. Among the songs are found such perfect renditions as "Jeru," "Duke Ellington Medley" which includes five songs as a set), "'Round Midnight," "Blues In The Night," "Lady Be Good," and "What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life."
