The Landrus Project: True Colors by Brian Landrus

Described as a Sonic Creation, this talented group of nine musicians, offer a 19-original-track project, filled with inspiring inflections, two saxophones, trombone, keys, 2 guitars, bass, DJ & drums, blending soul, funk, jazz, Reggae and a touch of hip-hop.

DJ does a bit of turntable scratch work on the track Crossing.

Sweet keyboard intertwined with screaming sax create a big band sound on LZ 422

The music on this album is smooth, with plenty of variety from the band.

Sheherezade Stone provides pleasant female lead vocals on a few tracks.

Saxophonist and composer/arranger, Brian Landrus has performed with the Temptations, the Four Tops, the Coasters, the Drifters and Martha Reeves.

The Project was voted Best Band and Musician 2002 by readers of Reno Gazette-Journal.
