Of all the virtues, courage undoubtedly is read and universally admired: Unknown Soldier's jazz score highlights bravery and the human social fracture in our society.
New York composer and keyboard player Peter Calandra has definitely written the music for a poignant film. As a matter of fact, Calandra has already composed scores for “Jellysmoke” and “13th Child”. He has also written over 800 compositions for television and has scored over 20 industrial videos.
Peter is well known in the Broadway scene performing for the productions of “Miss Saigon”, “Les Misérables”, and “Phantom of the Opera”. Peter has also enriched his own music in cooperation with artists such as Don Cherry, Allen Ginsberg, and Susan Anton.
Unknown Soldier (an online release that's is available for purchase via stores such as iTunes) marries (with faultlessness) the screenplay and the intensity of urban jazz. Fascinating, this jazz score display disconsolate sequences : “Searching” expose a perfect blend of aural gears as well as cords and curling effects. “Ellison’s Pain” absolutely seized the scene as Calandra’s piano and Dale Klep’s distressed saxophone achieves to grab you right there where Ellison cries his sorrow.
“The Escape” imparts the music’s inward city pitches, toted up by resonant and beat synchronization.
