Year: 2007

Record Label: Independant Release

Style: Contemporary Jazz

Review:

Vladan Nedeljkov deserves good credit for this inspiring release.  Featuring a fertile imagination, the flow of this music spans seven brilliant pieces.  As the album comprises an articulated hodgepodge of contemporary jazz-fusion, electro-world music shapes it.  Likewise, the overall clear sound quality easily enhances the total listening encounter.

Nedeljkov displays a soggy, soul-exciting vibe to the lively upbeat craft as he integrates retro-synth, mixed beats, and programmed phrases into the outline.  In diverse parts, Nedeljkovkov opts for a simplistic attitude, where tricky key based melodies often surface the path for jazz-rock rhythms.  Moreover, this disc affects a pulsating musical vista that includes jazz-along type choruses and rock, fusion solo spells.

Vladan achieves to render strong moments, while all the same there’s a primary sense of evenness. “Prologue, Sign, Devil, Labyrinth, Unicorn, The Game, and Eclipse” are performed with the melody coupled atop the instrumentalist’s lyricism and harmony type sounds... However, there’s no doubt about the bending musicianship arrayed throughout this altogether flowing set.

With a tactful approach, Vladan Nedeljkov unifies various jazz-cognate genres into a wide-ranging drift. He obviously targets to please!. To that end, he spreads a sizeable groove.  The track program ought to temper the musical appetites of electronica and Contemporary jazz audiences.

Tracks:

Prologue, Sign, Devil, Labyrinth, Unicorn, The Game, Eclipse
