Review: BIG BAND REFLECTIONS OF COLE PORTER is a CD collection which will delight Cole Porter fans and Big Band fans alike! Marvin Stamm on trumpet plays the music of Cole Porter in topnotch form, and the vocals of Sandra Dudley are perfect for the Big Band approach to the music of Cole Porter. The orchestra is Big Band at its finest.

There are 9 songs in the collection. Cole Porter's "It's All Right With Me," "Love For Sale," "Night and Day," "So In Love," "Everything I Love," "From This Moment On," and "What Is This Thing Called Love" are featured alongside two original songs for the collection titled "Twelve" and "Two In Love." Each song is an example of Big Band at its best expression in orchestra form.

For those who enjoy Big Band music and the music of Cole Porter, this is an engaging, imaginative listening treat. BIG BAND REFLECTIONS OF COLE PORTER is fine music, and the musicians are topnotch. Each song performance on this collection is excellent.

Tracks: An exceptional rendition of "What Is This Thing Called Love" is an intricate and enjoyable approach to Cole Porter.
