An interesting experience last evening (Tuesday): The Concorde Club at Eastleigh, (perhaps the best U.K. provincial jazz club in terms of facilities and ambience) had the first of a new series of "Jazz Diva" evenings.The Club, which promotes various types of jazz on different evenings each week decided that 'the jazz diva genre' is becoming so popular that a dedicated night could be tried.
