Legendary rock/blues guitarist/bassist and Rock Talk radio show host Greg Godovitz (Goddo/ex-Ronnie Hawkins) will be headlining an all- star concert lineup of performers at Jeff Healey's Roadhouse this coming Sunday night, December 9th, 2007 for his annual John Lennon Tribute Concert.
This John Lennon musical tribute will be celebrating the musical
genius of the late and indisputably great Beatle, John Lennon -- and his indispensable and highly entertaining contribution to music history.
An added bonus this night will be Godovitz interviewing Canadian folk
icon Murray McLauchlan :

weekly Sunday night radio show Rock Talk : http://www.cfrb.com
This radio show will be broadcast live on CFRB 1010 AM, at Jeff
Healey's Roadhouse from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Sunday night.
After Greg's `sure-to-be-engrossing' conversation with McLauchlan
wraps up, there'll be a short break.
Then Godovitz's `British Invasion' band `Have Mersey' (as in the `Mersey Beat'/"Ferry Across the Mersey"), takes the stage, to wow the crowd at Healey's, from 7:30 p.m. to about 10 p.m. or 11 p.m.
There'll be many Special Guest artists taking part, including:
singer/songwriter Steven Fearing (Blackie & the Rodeo Kings); singer Liam Titcomb; Lawrence Gowan (Styx and Gowan fame) and vocalist Ed Pilling (Fludd).
Also on hand will be multi-talented singer/songwriter/instrumentalist
Greg Wyard (Classic Albums Live), as well as Carpet Frogs Band vocalist Nick Sinopoli and guitarist David Love. (The Carpet Frogs recently backed Guess Who legends Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman on their recent Bachman & Cummings `Jukebox' CD and tour).
Doug Inglis (Goddo/ex-Ronnie Hawkins) will be on drums; and keyboardist Chris Dale will be playing a rare EMI-manufactured Mellotron, identical to the one Paul McCartney uses.
So, an early start and finish to this rare night of live-in-concert
John Lennon Tribute Concert music and live Rock Talk CFRB 1010 AM radio show, broadcast 'Live' from Jeff Healey's Roadhouse in Toronto.
The cover for this monumental music extravaganza will be $15 at the door.
It is sure to be a real crowd-pleaser that'll pull out all the stops,
to honor and showcase the musical genius that was and still is the
great John Lennon.
