TEENAGE FEMALE ARTIST FROM BOCA RATON PREPARING TO SET A NEW MARK IN BOTH THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND IN THE FIGHT AGAINST VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
NORTHAMPTON, MA September 14th, 2004 Sammy Witness is a sixteen year old girl from Boca Raton, Florida, who has been writing and performing music for the last four years. Her style is comprised of rock, pop, blues and alternative elements that mix together in to a distinctive style that fits right in to today’s sound of mainstream music. Sammy is separating her self from the pack by not only writing her own music, but delivering it based on the music and not her appearance. Though she is a stunning young woman, she is going to be introduced to the public through her sound, not her look. Sammy Witness will deliver on her songs, her writing, the emotions behind them and the beautiful girl that she is on the inside.
Protectomatic Music, the artist representation company that signed her, will keep her true to herself and her music and not present her sexually or provocatively to the public. Protectomatic CEO Loren Weisman states "Sammy is the perfect artist. She has simple hooks that are memorable, lyrics that both teenagers and young adults can relate too as well as an authentic presence that is captivating. I am going to do everything in my control to market her to the public in the way that she is today without changing one single element of her image."
Together Protectomatic Music Inc, Sammy and her family have created a 12 month plan to record, produce, distribute, promote and market an album of her material. A web site, logos, posters, banners, stickers and various other merchandise items are being budgeted for. Protectomatic music is also assisting in the creation of her own publishing company and making sure that Sammy and her families have all the rights to her music and the contracts to continue the protection of her music, her career and her future goals. Sammy Witness will also separate her self from the mainstream image by giving twenty percent of her profits from the CD to a non profit organization dedicated to the prevention of violence against women and children. The Family Violence Prevention Fund was chosen for its wonderful job and mission to help those in great need in this area. All Protectomatic artists must give a percentage of their profits to something to help and assist in the greater good for others.
