Rosalia Royo was born in Columbia and was raised in Madrid. She recieved her degree in music at Cal Arts in California and lived for several years in Tijuana working with the vital artistic community there. On her return to Spain she began working with the international community of musicians there and recorded her first CD. She is a composer with an original voice using a variety of worldmusic influences. She has a husky engaging voice and is a classicly trained guitarist. The concert will showcase her new music performed by some of the top musicians of the Madrid community. Brazilian Gladston Galliza is a virtuoso guitarist, Drummer Carlos Carli is from Uraguay, Bassist Hector Oliveira is an American Ex-patriot originally from Texas and Percussionist Eliseo Parro on Percussion. Also featured is Pianist and Flautist Turiya Mareya who is from the USA currently touring in Europe.
