Bobby's new CD is entitled "Pan Con Bistec." As with his groudbreaking CD "Ritmo Jazz Latino", Ramirez continues to showcase his versatility as a composer, arranger, instrumentalist as well as producing skills featuring eight compositions that touch a wide spectrum of Jazz. From swing, bebop, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music, to rhythms from Central/South America and the Caribbean, R&B and funk grooves, Ramirez's repertoire represents an extraordinary fusion of world music with Jazz influence.
This recording is blessed with the talent of violinist Federico Britos. This titan of the violin, who is as equally adept within the world of jazz music as he is in the classical realm, has built a solid reputation throughout the Southern Hemisphere of the Americas.
