The performance features original pieces from the CD and standards, as well as a few new compositions. The trio recently recorded a new CD entitled "Shades of People" due out in a few months. Upcoming performance at Klub Europa in October.
Drummer Eliot Zigmund toured and recorded with pianist Bill Evans from 1975 to 1979. He also did the same with French pianist michel Petrucciani for 5 years. In addition to these major accomplishments, Eliot has worked and/or recorded with John Abercrombie, Jim Hall, Joe Lovano, Joe Henderson, Stan Getz, Pat Metheny and many others.
Bassist Tom Hubbard has performed with Kenny Barron, Charlie Rouse and Dewey Redmond. He has performed and written arrangements for seven of Freddy Coles' CDs.
