Jeanne, pianist extraordinaire, was a child prodigy. She began to play chords and melody on the piano at the age of three. Eventually, her talent and experience cumulated at the largest radio station in the Twin Cities, WCCO. She was staff vocalist and pianist there for an astounding 22 years. In addition to her respected radio and TV work, she often performed extensively for a myriad of nightclubs and contributed her prestigious talent to various recording sessions. She has played shows for such notables as Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Ray Bolger, Dianne Carroll, just to name a few. She has played in bands with jazz greats such as Sonny Stitt, Roy Eldridge, Warrne Vachez and Bud Shank.

Jeanne is the matriarch of Minnesota's First Family of Music: The Petersons and her five children are all respected professional musicians.She has the distinction of being one of only two women inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, the other recipient being Judy Garland. In 1997, Jeanne was the recipient of the Midwest Jazz Masters Award.

Jeanne Arland Peterson also has several outstanding previous releases, including "My Calendar" . This CD is an eclectic collection of solo piano pieces for the months of the year with incredible arrangements.
