On April 14, 2002 Grey had an album launching show in his current residence of Florida. The show was advertised in all the local papers as well as in Jamaica papers. Making guest appearances in the horn section of the group was Dean Fraser, Jamaica's premier sax player as well as a good friend. Also along were trombonist Nambo Robinson and trumpeter Chico who recorded on the Timeless CD. The show was a raving success and was given an excellent review in Jamaica's Caribbean Voices writing "...the evenings entertainment began on a high and did not falter throughout. With the front of the stage, the late evening performance did not finish until people were on their feet - and on their feet they were..."

Guitar Nine Records writes "A professional guitar player with an impressively long resume, the CD captures his playing over infectious, island grooves and soulful standards, making this a delightful listen." The Beat Magazine writes "The spirit of jazz great Wes Montgomery hovers over Eugene Grey's Timeless... Thoroughly enjoyable jazz guitar based reggae."

He has toured all over the world as lead guitarist with the likes of artists such as "Kid Creole and The Coconuts", Toots and The Maytals" and most recently Jamaica's "Burning Spear".
