David Tughan has been a singer on the London Jazz Scene since Graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1997 performing at the 606 Club, the Dorchester, the Meridian Waldorf hotels and of course the inimitable Backstage Bar at the Spice of Life. His articulate and witty interpretation of Classic up-tempo numbers and Ballads from the Great American Songbook is at times uncannily akin to the young Chet Baker. Complemented with a smattering of considered and elegant scatting David displays a great range and versatility in his vocal approach.
