For immediate release Matthew Shipp is making a long awaited live appearance in NYC on Thursday March 28, 2002 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.) The legendary pianist will be performing pieces expanding the concept displayed on his best selling disc of all time "Nu Bop" Joining him will be William Parker playing double bass, Daniel Carter on saxophone & flute and Flam handling the synths and programming. Show starts at 9:30pm with opening act DJ Singe.
