Jim Cifelli has been active as a freelance trumpeter, composer and arranger in New York City for 15 years. His compositions and arrangements have been performed by numerous professional and student ensembles including the Stuttgart Radio Orchestra, The Navy Commodores, The Composers Big Band, Clarion University and other. In addition to Groove Station, Jim has also released three CDs with his band The New York Nonet: Bullet Trane So You Say and Tunnel Vision.
