Follow Your Bliss is the Debut CD featuring a collection of 8 original solo bass improvisations composed and performed by Jamal Hurse. Although born with a profound hearing loss, Jamal has developed his own innovative style of playing multiple layers of melody at the same time on his fretless electric bass. Compared to "Jaco on Acid", Jamal has succeeded in creating a uniquely new and phenomenal sound for the Free Jazz genre. Influenced by Artists such as Beethoven, Jimi Hendrix, Ornette Coleman, and even Wassily Kandinsky, at age 41, Jamal is emerging from a decade period of ‘woodshedding" with a collection of his passionate pieces on this CD.

Follow Your Bliss is now available for purchase online at CD Baby and for individual .mp3 sales at CD Shark, and will soon be available for purchase at major online media resellers such as Itunes, RealMedia, MSN Music, as well as in retail store outlets.
