Announcement: The Second Philippine International Jazz & Arts Festival, 2007

For music and arts fans who want to experience a big-time international festival as in Europe and the Americas, here’s one on Asian homeground, the "Philippine International Jazz & Arts Festival", slated for February’s "Arts Month" of next year, 2007. For this city-wide event which is the Philippine’s biggest concert series, the producers of the festival, PIJazzfest Inc. will be bringing in, straight from Europe and the USA, today’s "Big Four" of jazz namely, Brazil’s jazz queen, Flora Purim and the world’s premier percussionist, Airto Moreira for a special one-day concert at the COCO PALACE, Manila on February 23 plus Concorde Records’ star artist, Diane Schuur and piano phenomenon, Eldar Djangirov for a dinner show at the WESTIN PHILIPPINE PLAZA on February 24.

This 10-days unprecedented event, will also feature 35 of the country’s top artists who will be performing in seven participating malls from February 16 to 22, 2007.
