Hello! Despite the cooler temperatures outside, Flora has been anything but hibernating!

October saw her in the Okanagan giving 3 concerts over the Thanksgiving weekend. Then back in Nelson on Fri. Oct. 16 she performed at the Velvet Underground as part of the Soundvibes Compilation release party. This new CD features all Kootenay musicians, and Flora's song "Let Go" was placed as the first track.

RadioIndy.com gave Flora's CD "Insight" a GrIndie Award in October as well, saying: "Flora Ware’s "Insight" is an album that has the versatility to mix jazz with R&B and pop with progressive, modern touches. This treasure of exquisite songs will have listeners wanting more of this gifted artist, and is an album well worth listening to."

More recently, Flora was live on the CBC radio airwaves. Sheryl MacKay interviewed Flora on her show North By Northwest, when she was in Nelson broadcasting live from the Co-op radio studio.
